Astoria City Council moves forward with Scandinavian Heritage Park
The Astoria Scandinavian Heritage Association is rejoicing that it has finally reached an agreement with the Astoria City Council which will allow it to move forward with its plans for a monument honoring Scandinavian immigrants in the former People’s Park in downtown Astoria on the Riverwalk.
