ASOC Virtual Readers Theater
“From Suomi Hall”, vintage theater piece translated from the Finnish by Sirpa Duoos, performed at Suomi Hall, with support from the Oregon Cultural Trust and Clatsop Cultural Coalition.

Fruit Soup and Rice Pudding (to go):
Carrying on their longstanding Midsummer tradition, the auxiliary of the Finnish lodge is offering (drive thru/pick up) fruit soup and rice pudding for Midsummer.
Place your order by calling a friendly voice at 503-440-9002 between May 10 and June 17. Pick up your order by driving behind the hall at 244 West Marine Drive in Astoria on Saturday, June 19, between 11 AM and 3 PM.

Friday, the festival kicks off with vendors, food and live entertainment. Friday’s major evening events include Queen's Coronation, a Bonfire with Hex burning, and a public dance.

Saturday continues with the Midnight Sun Breakfast, Troll Run/Walk, parade, Midsummer Pole, Beer Garden, Viking Encampment, folk dress parade, children’s games, public dance, & more.

Sunday’s activities include a Pannukakku Breakfast, non-denominational church service, shopping, food, and live entertainment. Festival concludes with the closing ceremonies.
