DRIVE-BY OPTOG PARADE - a stationary parade of people celebrating their Nordic Heritage through Native Folkwear, Flags, and Signs.
When: Saturday, June 14, 2025(One week before the Festival!)
Time: 10:00am
Location: Marine Drive in Downtown Astoria, in front of the Nordic Heritage Park, between 15th and 16th Street.
Drive by and wave or honk in support of our communities Nordic Heritage, or join in and celebrate your Nordic Heritage alongside of us.

Friday Details!
Friday, the festival kicks off with vendors, food and live entertainment. Friday’s major evening events include Queen's Coronation, a Bonfire with Hex burning, and a public dance.
Saturday Details!
Saturday continues with the Midnight Sun Breakfast, Troll Run/Walk, parade, Midsummer Pole, Beer Garden, Viking Encampment, folk dress parade, children’s games, public dance, & more.
Sunday Details!
Sunday’s activities include a Pannukakku Breakfast, church service, shopping, food, and live entertainment. Festival concludes with the closing ceremonies.
