Photos of the festive annual Stationary Optog Parade, led by this year's Grand Marshals, Kurt and Augusta Hayrynen. This is a relatively new addition which takes place the week before the festival, created as an alternative while the festival was closed in 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic. It was so popular that we decided make it an annual tradition. The Stationary Optog Parade was held in front of the Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria.
