Saturday evening after 5 PM of the Midsummer Festival has lots of option. Admission is FREE if you purchase a ticket to the ARRIVAL/GASLIGHTER concert. Booths will be open until 6:30 PM in the Arena. The Scandinavian Cafe will offer a Viking Buffet in the exhibit hall with music by Coreen Bergholm's Nordic Accordion Band. Ray and Randy will entertain in the Beer Garden starting 5:30 and the Astor Street Opry will be serving snacks and beverages. One reason kids love the Midsummer Festival is the Barnefest area full of kids activities - games, crafts, and face painting. It's only open 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday but we hear directly from kids themselves that they like the festival all three days and want to come back.
