Light in the Darkness remembers those we hold dear in our memory at the holiday season. We’ll light over 100 candles and hold a ceremony of remembrance with poetry, song, and refreshments at 5 PM on Friday, December 12. Candles will be lit by 4:30 PM so people can enjoy the park and refreshments will be served afterwards for socializing. There will be canopies in case of rain.
To have your loved one’s name read aloud and included in the program, send a minimum donation of $25 to ASHA, PO Box 34, Astoria OR 97103 or use the PayPal link on the contribute page. Include the words Light in the Darkness and the name of your loved one. Names will be read aloud and printed in the program. The deadline to have names in the program is 5 PM on Wednesday, December 10.
