The Astoria Scandinavian Heritage Association (ASHA) was formed as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. This new entity was formed to support the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival Association (SMFA) and to allow us to accept donations to the tax benefit of donors which the Festival Association is unable to do. We hope this will bring stabilized funding and allow long term support to the Festival Association for the events and cultural education. Festival Association sponsors have been very supportive and we are very grateful for their loyalty. We want you to know about the new tax exempt association and invite you to also become a FRIEND of the Astoria Scandinavian Heritage Association. We see this not so much as a one-time opportunity but rather as a way to build a loyal patronage of support for the Scandinavian culture we all want to preserve.
Any gift will be appreciated. You will receive a receipt acknowledging your donation for tax deduction purposes.
Donations can be made to: Astoria Scandinavian Heritage Association, P.O. Box 34, Astoria, OR 97103.
